The Contemporary Museum of Universal
Language and Transcendent Interaction

Capstone Design Project

For the capstone project I chose to explore topics of communication; particularly language, through a more abstract and broader encompassing lens to conceptualise and recognise the universal connection that it provides for humans and cultures. Language is the principal method of human communication, a transferal of energy, codes to a better understanding of our navigation within the universe. Language is everywhere we look, hear, smell, taste and perceive. A sensory vehicle for means of informing and expressing ideas.

I wanted to create a place that could encapsulate these ideas, a place which is built upon community and culture to analyse, depict, inform, express various ideas through artefacts and artworks regarding language, communication, human nature and connection. The purpose — To display the omnipresent power of different systems of global communication by providing historical and culturally diverse context of universal language between humans, through a contemporary lens and presented in a meaningful, engaging and provoking manner.

The Contemporary Museum of Universal Language and Transcendent Interaction, aka tc/ MULTI, is the mecca for exploring the boundless nature of communication, connection, and expression. It’s where language meets art, transcending cultural and linguistic divides to reveal the universal threads that bind us all. At tc/MULTI, visitors dive into immersive exhibits, decode the layers of human interaction, and discover the beauty of shared understanding. A sanctuary for the curious, tc/MULTI redefines what it means to communicate in a world that’s always evolving. Language is no longer just words — it’s a canvas for innovation, an invitation to connect, and a mirror of the collective human experience.
